I would just like to say thank you for our headbands!

Dear Donna

I would just like to say thank you for our headbands! They are being used on the neonatal unit in Winchester!

Im the nurse in the centre of the photo along with 2 colleagues sporting our new headbands!

Can you pass on my thanks to Andra for my westie attire….very apt for me as my son works for Harrods and I had a white westie called Archie whom I lost in March of this year.

Thank you for my beautiful headband

Good Morning Donna,

I have just received the sweetest unicorn headband that will perfect for keeping my long hair back out of my eyes when I am with my patients.

I can see that it was made by Nora age 11 and would like to send her a thank you card.

Which address would be best to send this too ?

Many Thanks for all your help and support

Dear Donna,
I work on the Neonatal/Labour /postnatal wards in Winchester and wear a mask for 12 hours a day. My colleagues and I really appreciate your beautiful headbands. They are very stylish and my ears are much less sore now. Please particularly thank Katie (16) and Ollie (6) for their amazing creations.

Scrubs accessories

Hi everyone

Thank you so much for all your efforts.
Everyone is so great full.
When I work out how to forward Facebook images, you will see how pleased people are to receive your lovely contribution !!

We have a request for more scrubs hats for the Isle of Wight Hospital.
I wonder if all of you who have patterns can make 3 more.
I have material if needed.

We may need more hats and hairbands. I am waiting to hear later today so will let you know.
Thank you again for your continued generosity 👏👏👏
Hopefully we will be no longer needed soon 😀
Take Care

Nhs headbands

Hi Donna
Thank you so much for the lovely headbands, such a wonderful idea and so very kind of you.
I have just finished my night shift in A&E and my colleagues were so pleased and appreciative of them.  I put them in the staff room and they were the highlight of the shift, needless to say that have all gone !
If you do have anymore spare next week, I can share them out for another nursing shift week but obviously wouldn’t want to take them away from other nurses and carers so please give them priority .
Thank you once again
From a&e xx

We just wanted to say a big thank you

Dear Donna and the “wesew” team!

We just wanted to say a big thank you for the head bands that you and your team have donated to our clinical teams at Hampshire Hospitals.  I took the head bands up to our ITU department and they absolutely loved them (even the boys!).

We really appreciate your support and the donations,

Many thanks,

Thank you

Hi Everyone

Here are your recent contributions.sent to hospitals today. We have now sent 286 bags, 70 headbands, 54 scrub hats.
Well done everyone. Amazing!!👏👏👏

The items are divided between Winchester and Basingstoke Hospitals.
Some have also gone to Old Alresford Care home.

I’ve had feed back from the Assistant Nursing Director.

Scrubs, bags and headbands are still in demand.
Some of the larger bags are to be used to store respirators, which will be allocated to a member of staff personally.

I am still waiting to hear how many of each item is still needed.
The main message from the hospitals to you all is….

“We really appreciate all your efforts, it’s really boosting morale and helping us to feel valued-thank you!”

Catherine 😊x

Head bands

Hi,I work at north baddesley doctors surgery with Elaine , I would just like to say thank you for the head bands and will come in very useful at the time .
Many people  ( charities / donations ) tend to forget about the doctors surgeries and just focus on the hospitals, we are still working and doing our very best for patients , attending their houses and homes to still give them the care they need.
So again thank you

From all at north baddesley surgery

Hair bands!

Thank you – I work at North Baddesley GP surgery – we work along with all the surgeries in the locality at the hot hub in Romsey seeing, assessing and treating COVID patients so have to wear full PPE all day. My ears and nose are raw after working so these headbands will go some way in helping and alleviating the symptoms!

Thank you so much for the hair bands!! They are amazing! Take Care and Stay safe x

Just received my scrubs

Dear Donna. I am a GP in Romsey and just received my scrubs made by Eloise age 5 and Holly age 18. I shall be wearing these when I am rota’d to act as the ‘corona virus doctor’ each week seeing potentially unwell patients in the local community in their homes. Please pass on my thanks to Eloise and Holly and yourself. It’s so nice to see the community coming together and pray we all learn to live a little more together even after things settle down.

Thank your again. Dr Jabir , Alma Road Surgery Romsey x

Thank you so much everyone

Hello! My name is a Lizzie and I’m a nurse. I’ve been working in ICU at Basingstoke this last month although I’m actually an A&E nurse. I was lucky enough to be able to choose a headband from the fabulous collection you sent over and wondered if you would be kind enough to to thank Eli (age 12…!) for my lovely gift. As you can see it matches my hair PERFECTLY! I’ve already worn it and it works a treat.

Thank you so much everyone.

From the cleaners to the consultants

The ones I took in on Monday went super quickly from the cleaners to the consultants….they were all very grateful and loved the letter and the fact they were made by children so thank you! Am working again next Thursday so happy to take more in! X

Thank you so much to all the lovely sew-ers!

Thank you so much to all the lovely sew-ers!  My niece finally got her head bands in the post 🙂

Thank you and your students

I just wanted to send an email to say thank you and your students for the lovely headbands.  I’m a dietitian on the paediatric renal unit and when I moaned that my ears are in the wrong place and my mask was falling down one of the nurses presented me with a headband beautifully sewn by Dean.  I was able to wear my mask for 3 hours without it slipping or getting sore ears which means I can reduce the use of mask as if we keep touching them they become contaminated and need to be replaced.

Thank you again

Thankyou so much for the headbands and scrub bags that were made. The maternity unit absolutely loved them. They were taken by midwives, drs, support workers and nursery nurses all walking around wearing your hard work! In particular thanks to Jacqui for my scrub bag. Thank you so much again x

Good morning,

Kind regards,

Thank you

Thank you to the “We Sew” group who made and donated scrub bags to our team. Each bag has a label sewn in saying who made the bag and how old they are. A great idea and thank you to all your young sewing enthusiasts.
